Relax in the luxury, charm and idyllic solitude of our 20 acre farm property. Swim in our outdoor heated pool or just walk in the gardens and take in the magnificent views of the water and surrounding pastures. We provide comfortable en-suite rooms and a good farmhouse breakfast that features our own healthy and delicious farm products.
All rooms feature hardwood floors and top quality beds, linens and towels for your comfort and pleasure. Two bedrooms have full en-suite bathroom facilities and the third has a private bathroom.

The heated outdoor swimming pool is open from May through to the end of September. Guests are welcome to use the pool at their own risk (there is no lifeguard on duty).
The pool takes full advantage of the warm southerly exposure in a private setting that overlooks the farm pastures at the back of the property.
Three Gates Farm is located on the South Road facing across False Narrows to Mudge Island and it is approximately 10 minutes by car from the Gabriola ferry terminal, and only a few minutes walking distance from the boat launch and beach access off El Verano Drive.
From the Gabriola ferry, drive up the hill and continue straight onto South Road. Drive past the golf course and keep going until you reach sea level again (you will see the water on your right). The farm and B&B are located on your left just after the El Verano Drive turnoff.
Three Gates Farm has established and maintains production herds of heritage breed farm livestock on Gabriola Island and helps to conserve the rich variety of traditional farm animals. Our animals are raised in a natural environment. They spend their days on lush Gabriola pastures grazing and foraging for their food over idyllic meadows and rolling hills.
Do you have your own horse? Bring it with you. We can provide a stable and the hay and you can ride the trails with over 700 acres of community parks to explore.

A separate wing of our farmhouse provides three luxurious guest bedrooms together with
a guest lounge, a guest dining room and a private B&B entrance/reception area.
It's so nice to start the day with a swim before breakfast ... or to spend a lazy sunny afternoon soaking up the sun with an
occasional refreshing dip in the water.
The farmhouse has un-obstructed views of the water and it is surrounded by grazing pastures which sustain a rich variety of Canadian heritage farm livestock.
